Mix to Picture
Surround or Stereo
Mixing audio to picture is what we do. We do it well and we do it within
your budget. Whether it's a 15-second commercial, or a two-hour program,
a simple stereo mix or a 5.1 surround mix, we will deliver a mix that
you will love. We have a full complement of video decks for layback including:
•Digibeta
•IMX
•HDCAM and more.
We have the infamous Dolby LM100, and we are intimately familiar with
its use and abuse. We can and will meet your clients deliverable specs.

Sound editing/design
Tailoring
the right sounds to fit your picture and enhance your story—that's what
designing sound is all about. Not simply matching picture with
sound, but discovering the sounds that impart the right emotion, either
overtly or subtly. We have an extensive library of commercial sound effects,
plus a huge amount of personally recorded and designed sounds that are
unique to Takoma Media. And the collection grows larger all the time.

VO recording
Takoma
Media can record narration in our 100 square foot voice-over booth. We
feature mics by Neumann, Schoeps, Sennheiser and more. We can record to
picture or to a stopwatch. Once recorded, you can walk with the files
on cd, DVD, DAT, DA88, or we can FTP them to their final destination.
Please note: We do not offer ISDN recording. We prefer to FTP full resolution
